Coming Soon: The Motor Mart Garage Redevelopment at 201 Stuart Street is a renovation and adaptive reuse of an existing 1927 cast-in-place parking garage to accommodate a new 28-story tower and a partial four-story vertical expansion. About half of the existing eight-story Motor Mart Garage will be demolished to make room for the new cast-in-place concrete residential tower. The remaining portion of the garage will be structurally isolated by vertical expansion joints as well as using slide-bearing assemblies to accommodate the expansion above. The 28-story tower includes 231 condominium units, 46,000 SF of retail including one-story below-grade, and 672 parking spaces.
