Winchester, MA
Winchester is a small commuter town north of Boston popular with working professionals that need easy access to the city, but want a more suburban lifestyle. The town has two MBTA commuter rail stops along the Lowell line. Winchester was designated as a “Green Community” by the state of Massachusetts back in 2010 for its efforts to promote cleaner energy. Part of the Middlesex Fells Reservation lies in Winchester, a public recreation area occupying more than 2,200 acres in five towns.
