Architecturally the Waterfront District and Waterfront real estate are dominated by two very different styles. The first style belongs to the vast historic granite wharf buildings that were once the hub of Boston's seafaring heritage. The second style belongs to luxury condo developments built beginning in the late 70s until the present. No matter the age of the Waterfront real estate you visit, the central organizing feature will be the water and the stunning view out onto the inner Harbor.
