(Boston, MA.) -- Joe Schutt, a salesperson with Gibson Sotheby's International Realty in Boston, MA has been elected a chairperson of the Greater Boston Association of Realtors (GBAR) Technology Committee for 2010.
As a GBAR committee leader, Joe Schutt is responsible for ensuring that the committee meets its programming goals and business initiatives as set forth in the associations Strategic Plan. Specifically, he will help administer the activities of the Technology Committee, facilitate discussion at committee meetings, and provide regular reports and present committee action items to the GBAR Board of Directors. In recent years, he has been active both on the GBAR Technology Committee (serving as its Vice-Chairperson in 2009) and the Education Committee.
A Realtor since 2003, Schutt has earned his Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Green, Loss Mitigation Certification (LMC) and e-Pro professional designations.
The Greater Boston Association of Realtors is one of five real estate specialty divisions of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board. The Association is the Boards largest division with a membership of more than 6,000 residential real estate professionals working in 900 offices throughout Metropolitan Boston and Eastern Massachusetts. The Board is a member of the National Association of Realtors and the Massachusetts Association of Realtors.
