Schutt was named to the board by 2011 NAR President Ron Phipps and will serve on the Equal Opportunity Cultural Diversity Committee.
As a NAR Director, Joe Schutt (http://www.joeschutt.com) will share in the responsibility for governing the National Association of Realtors. The Board of Directors has the authority to: approve expenditures of the Association, set dues, set public policy positions as they pertain to the real estate industry, establish governing policies of the Association, approve member programs, products, and services, approve amendments to the bylaws and recommend to the delegate body constitution and code of ethics amendments.
A Realtor since 2003, Schutt has earned his Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Green, Loss Mitigation Certification (LMC) and e-Pro professional designations. Schutt has further involved himself in the professional real estate community through his work at the national and state level. Joe serves on the Massachusetts Association of Realtors Board of Directors, the National Association of Gay & Lesbian Real Estate Professionals Board of Directors in addition to chairing and serving on committees of the Greater Boston Association of Realtors.
