MEET WILEY!
Wiley is a handsome and super sweet 2 year-old neutered male American bulldog mix who was brought to the ARL due to landlord restrictions. He is such a happy boy with a smile on his face all the time! He is a playful guy who loves to fetch his toys. Tennis balls or any kind of balls are his favorite! Wiley is great to take on walks but he really loves to run around playing and would certainly enjoy a fenced yard where it is safe for him to do so.
Wiley is very people friendly and gets along with other dogs after a proper introduction. He does not particularly like to share his toys with other dogs, so he may do best as the only dog at home or maybe with a tolerant canine housemate. Although he lived with a cat in his original home, he could sometimes play a little rough so cats may prefer not to live with him.
He has been learning a lot about basic training here at the shelter and knows different cues like sit, down, stay, drop and has also been learning how to go into a crate and seems to enjoy it. Wiley enjoys having lots of productive things to do when left alone so giving him some tough chew toys (he loves jolly balls) is a good way for him to expend his energy and keep himself occupied when alone left alone.
