Think it's just a spirit that can be reborn? Nay, nay, it's the Winter Ball! Take the legacy of Margaret Howell, the fresh energy of her nephew, William Grote....throw in a committee of Back Bay hipsters, and you have the New Boston version of a very Old Boston event, which absolutely was not to-be- missed. The grand festivities took over the Park Plaza and featured Alex Donner and his 12 piece orchestra, (recently named one the best big band entertainers in the country by the New York Times). Aunt Howell would be proud...
