How Big Is Boston? [Infographic]

The City of Boston compared to cities and landmarks worldwide

In a new infographic from SpareFoot, researcher and designer Brian Shreckengast draws a line around perception versus reality with regard to how big Boston really is. For many because Boston is compact, dense, and walkable it feels both big and small at the same time. Confusing ...

So how big is Boston? Is Boston more similar to the size and density of a European city, or is it just a bit smaller than one of its massive American siblings? Check it out in SpareFoot's infographic below.

Wait there's more, SpareFoot being in the "online helping to find self-storage business," has also crunched the numbers to figure out how many 10x20 storage units would fit in each of the US cities the infographic uses for comparison. They've even used their own self-storage pricing data in each US market to calculated how much it would cost to store the entire city. Wow! ... Check out that data at the bottom of the jump to their site here.

At Unit Realty Group we are data driven so of course we love the creative use of infographics to tell an interesting Boston story. Thank you SpareFoot. We just met, but already we like your style!
