Portraits in Refuge: A Virtual Exhibit - Unbound visual arts (UVA) presents a 360 degree exhibition through September 8th, showcasing 34 works by 15 UVA member artists. Curator Karen Smigliani states that the "...artists share expressions of isolation, anxiety, peace, beauty and optimism during our pandemic."
Friends Book Sale to Benefit BPL (10-4) - Boston Public Library will host a book sale to benefit its sponsor programs and the purchase of library equipment. Most books are $1-$2. The sale also includes records, CDs, sheet music, and DVDs. Have too many books? BPL is also accepting donations of these items for use in the sale.

The Deck on Lansdowne - The House of Blues Boston recently unveiled the Deck on Lansdowne, a new outdoor bar located on the roof of the Lansdowne garage. Seating is first come, first served. Guests can utilize contactless ordering and payment using a QR code at their table. Masks are of course required upon arrival until seated at a table.
Skip the Small Talk: Virtual Edition (12:30-2) - Want some human connection without leaving the house? Aeronaut Brewing sponsors this virtual happy hour meetup, join yourself or with friends. The event is structured so as to help people get closer to one another via conversation (and drinks ). A fun and safe way to stay in touch with our community throughout these isolated times.
