- Larry Pollans: Forest at BSG – "There is always uncertainty and disagreement about what we see. In the making of the objects and drawings for this show, it felt like a walk through a forest in which shapes are always shifting. In that natural environment the figural, floral and faunal interlace. The experience can easily shift from transcendent and uplifting to dark and deeply unsettling. It is the kind of experience we imagine our ancient forbearers encountered. It is from such exposure that mythologies may have emerged. The sculptures and drawings in this show materialize from that uncertainty. Flowers, stalks, trunks, birds, figures appear and disappear and reform from step to step."
- The Anchor Winter Garden – The Anchor has prided itself on providing our guests with an outlet from the turbulence of 2020. In a safe, controlled, yet fun and engaging environment - people have eaten, drank, enjoyed our decor and design and escaped for a moment or two. With that in mind, we have timed our tree-lighting, first wave of ice sculptures, holiday lights and the bulk of our programs to be unveiled with one goal: to provide a break from the hustle and bustle of the holidays and shine a (holiday) light on the end of 2020 and start of the new year.
