Stargazing at Gore Place, Waltham.

  • Stargazing at Gore Place – See the night sky in new ways during this hour-long stargazing program led by an expert astronomy educator. You’ll learn how to identify stars, planets and constellations, and we’ll uncover the historical importance of astronomy in the early 19th century. We’ll learn how to observe the night sky without equipment like binoculars or telescopes, but you’re welcome to bring your own.

Nature & Mental Health with Andi DIckmeyer

  • Nature & Mental Health with Andi Dickmeyer – Andi's presentation will discuss nature-based therapeutic practices found all over the world, including: forest bathing, nature art, adventure therapy, and horticultural therapy. She'll offer ideas and examples of how to include these in your own self-care practices. Andi received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Philosophy from Hamilton College, and currently works as a field mentor at a wilderness therapy organization for young adults.
