  • Dean's Distinguished Lecture Series: Douglass Williams (Chef/Owner of Mida) – With recent recognition as Food & Wine Best New Chef 2020 and a James Beard Foundation Semi-Finalist, Best Chef Northeast, the spotlight is shining brightly on Douglass Williams and his restaurant, MIDA. Williams is making the moment matter, sharing, “To be a Black chef/owner here in Boston is an honor and a responsibility I take very seriously.” Beyond creating delicious and beautiful dishes at MIDA, Williams believes in giving his time and energy to the neighborhood and those around him.
