Saturday, May 1st

 

• Greenway Artisan Market – The Greenway Artisan Market is a vibrant open-air market run by Somerville Flea featuring talented area artists, crafters, and independent designers. Visitors will find exceptional art, locally produced products, and much more! Explore the parks, stroll tree-lined promenades, take in the city sights, soak up the sunshine, play in the Rings Fountain, grab a bite to eat at a food truck, and shop local at the Greenway Artisan Market. It’s truly an original Boston experience! In line with City and State guidance on retail operations, the Greenway Artisan Market will be open every Saturday from 11a to 5p on The Greenway from May 1, 2021 through October 31, 2021.

 

 

 

• Savor the Square: Tree Giveaway – Speak for the trees, whose mission is to increase the health and size of the urban tree canopy, will be hosting a tree giveaway at Blair parking lot. Seedlings have already been claimed but there are still wildflower seedings that will be given out to the community. This event will have a few vendors stationed in the parking lot

 

 

Sunday, May 2nd

 

• SoWa Farmers Market – The SoWa Farmers Market will be back in May 2021 to provide fresh foods and groceries in an open-air setting. Each Sunday, we’ll feature a wide selection of your favorite local farms and food makers in a safe and spacious outdoor environment. We’ll also be featuring a handful of artists from the Arts Market who will bring cooking and kitchen goods, bath + body products and other handmade goods. Please wear your mask and maintain distance from your fellow shoppers when you visit.

 

 

 

• Moody Street Outdoor Dining – Waltham was one of the first cities in the state to completely close a roadway to allow restaurants more space for outdoor dining. Moody Street will once again close to traffic to allow outdoor dining beginning this weekend.
