Beer and Cheese Pairing Class
Friday, December 30th
Sample 6 local cheeses made by Northeastern Artisans, accompanied by a Bone Up Brewing beer pairing to compliment each. You will also learn about how cheese is made and which beer goes best with which type of cheese. There will be accompaniments which may include crackers, meats and jams, and there will be take home kits availabe for purchase.
80's Prom NYE Party
Saturday, December 31st
Ring in the New Year with some of the 80's greatest hits at PKL in Southie. There will be party favors, appetizers and games, including pickleball and corn hole. PKL will have their signature cocktails available as well as a champagne toast at midnight. Don't forget to stop by the photobooth!
Ice Sculpture Stroll
Saturday, December 31st
Take a walk around Boston's waterfront to see 30+ ice sculptures. This free walk will run from 1:00 p.m. to dusk and there will be holiday lights along the way! There will be some seasonal favorite ice sculptures, as well as some new designs to see. At midnight, there will be a firework display over the harbor to celebrate the new year!
Frog Pond Skating Spectacular
Saturday, December 31st
Come and watch national and international competitive figure skaters at a free show! The show includes soloists, groups, Team Excel Synchronized Skating and Theater On Ice of Boston teams performances. The show will begin at 6 p.m., followed by fireworks over The Common at 7 p.m.
New Year's Day Brunch
Sunday, January 1st
Head to Loretta's Last Call for a New Year's Day hangover brunch! There will be live country music, line dancing and a Bloody Mary bar! Enjoy great authentic southern cuisine at Boston's only country venue.
