Pour hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle. This will help clean your unit without putting toxic chemicals into the air. Open up the unit and remove the filter. Spray the inside of the unit with the hydrogen peroxide and wipe it down. Replace the filter with a fresh one and replace the filter once a month to keep up with the cleanliness of the unit. Dust the air vents then spray them with hydrogen peroxide to kill bacteria. Avoid turning your unit on and off constantly to avoid the buildup of bacteria. Enjoy a cool and dust free home!
