There's nothing worse than your shower or sink water building up as your getting ready (or unready) for the day. If this happens to you, easily clean your drain with a few household items!

Baking Soda + Lemon Juice
Pour half a cup of baking soda down the drain and then pour half a cup of lemon juice in. Let the mixture sit for an hour, then pour a pot of boiling water down the drain. This method should clean the drain and leave it smelling fresh!
Baking Soda + Vinegar
Pour half a cup of baking soda, then half a cup of vinegar down the drain and let the mixture sit for about an hour. Pour a pot of boiling water down the drain to clean out the pipes!
Baking Soda + Salt
Pour half a cup of baking soda followed by half a cup of salt down the drain and let it sit for 30 minutes. Pour a pot of boiling water down the drain for an unscented cleaning method!
Depending on the drain clog, you may need to repeat some of these cleaning methods. If the clogging doesn't get better or continues happening, you may need to snake your drain or call a plumber! Let us know what your favorite cleaning hacks are with household products!
