You use your sink to clean fruits, veggies and dishes, but don't forget that your sink needs cleaning too! Your kitchen sink is a catchall for leftover food and dirty dishes which can cause a buildup of food and gunk. Using just a few household items, you can clean your stainless steel sink and make it look brand new!

To clean your sink you will need water, baking soda, a magic eraser or regular soft sponge and a towel!
- First remove everything from your sink including your sponge holder and sink drain strainer.
- Once the sink is empty, spray it down with water and sprinkle baking soda on the sides of the sink as well as the bottom and around the drain.
- Use a magic eraser sponge to gently wipe down the surfaces. You can use a regular soft sponge for this as well, but it may leave more streaks and not get as deep of a clean.
- Rinse your sink down and dry it with an absorbent towel to avoid water streaks!
If you have a garbage disposal, now is a great time to clean that too! All you will need is baking soda, a long-handled brush, ice and a lemon peel!
- First, make sure your garbage disposal is turned off.
- Take a bristle brush with a long handle and pour baking soda on the brush bristles.
- Scrub the blades and sides of the garbage disposal.
- Once it is scrubbed thoroughly, put a few ice cubes and a lemon peel in the disposal and run it to leave it smelling fresh.
