1. Choose a Color Palette
Before you begin, choose a color scheme to inspire your decor as a whole. We recommend using festive colors such as browns, deep reds, oranges and yellows. You can bring these colors into your tablescape using flowers, linens and foods.
2. Start with the Basics
Start your tablescape decor with linens. Choose a neutral table cloth that will tie in your decor without taking too much attention away from the centerpieces. Next, choose napkins that contrast your table cloth but aligns with your color scheme. We recommend using napkins with a subtle pattern on them to create a more interesting base.
3. Add a Centerpiece
Your centerpiece will be the focal point of your tablescape, so we recommend intertwining various colors, textures and items. We recommend including a fall floral arrangement and mixing in gourds, pinecones and candles to create an elegant fall look.
4. Personalize Each Place Setting
Add a personal touch by personalizing your place settings. Write each of your guests names on a small card or a pumpkin to add a bit of class and charm to your tablescape, while also creating a seating chart that will make finding a seat at dinner time easier for everyone.
