Save the date for Beacon Hill's annual holiday gaslamp decorating days, December 7th and 8th. Join neighbors in wrapping garlands and attaching bows to Beacon Hills 1,100 lamp posts. Saturday the garlands and bows are prepared for Sunday's installation. Whether you can participate both days, or just for a few hours one day all are encouraged to participate.

Yappier Hour Halloween Event 2013

Come close out the Yappier Hour at the Liberty Hotel season this Wednesday, October 30, 5:30 8 PM. The event's highlight is a canine halloween costume party to benefit the MSPCA. The Liberty will donate a portion of the event's proceeds to the MSPCA, and contest winners will receive a donation in their name to the organization and gifts from Fish + Bone pet boutique.

[Photos] Project Progress At Former Filene's Site

Over the past several months I have been photographing Downtown Crossing's mega construction project at the former Filene's department store site which is to become Millennium Tower. Millennium Tower incorporates Filene's "Burnham Building" as historic low-rise remnant adjacent to a 625 foot glass tower to be constructed at the corner of Washington and Franklin streets. When completed, Millennium Tower will be home to 450 luxury condos as well as retail and office tenants.
